Bloomington native, Matt has been a part of the Guitarworks crew for over six years! He has been a lifetime multi-instrumentalist and performer and is now a member of the Guitarworks sales crew.

Rene Franklin- Lesson Coordinator & Office Manager
Rene Franklin is the wife of Kevin Franklin and the Lesson Coordinator for the Guitarworks Lesson Program. Rene also leads our “Around the World in Music” camp every summer for pre-k - 2nd grade students.
Rene is passionate about making sure our students find the right teacher and HAVE FUN while doing their lessons. She is the matchmaker for you and your teacher.
“Doctor” Deric Rush - Luthier
Deric is simply the best. There is no other way to put it. Deric’s life is guitar, and he is the best there is. People from all over the Midwest and beyond travel to get their instruments set up by the Doc, and he gives them a reason to.
Deric studied at the famous Bryan Galloup Guitar Hospital in Big Rapids, Michigan and hasn’t slowed down since. Bring your tired and weary instruments in and have new life breathed in them. You won’t be disappointed.
